Trustly, the global leader in Open Banking Payments, is proud to announce the appointment of Frederick Crosby as Chief Revenue Officer (“CRO”) and Craig McDonald as Chief Business Development Officer (“CBDO”) to help support its hyper-growth in the “pay-with-bank” market.
After helping Open Banking transform European commerce through its innovative bank-based payment solutions, the Trustly team has now triggered the same meteoric transformation in the Americas as it begins to adopt Open Banking policies. As the company has shot up to new heights, it is transforming its revenue leadership by bringing outside established payment leadership to work alongside its industry-leading team.
Frederick Crosby is joining as Trustly’s CRO with two decades of driving fast-paced revenue growth at major enterprises and noted start-ups in the FinTech space. He was an early leader in helping a young PayPal business revolutionize global payments and transform cross-border e-commerce. Following that, he has successfully led other major platforms like eBay and Western Union, and well-known start-ups like Veem and Nium to transform their markets in the B2B and B2C payment space.
Craig McDonald has overseen Trustly's growth since 2017 when he joined PayWIthMyBank (now Trustly) as Chief Business Officer. Craig has used his 20 years of fintech experience to bring Trustly solutions to some of the biggest names in telecom, financial services, gaming, e-commerce and other digital services. His successful track record will now be used to focus on setting Trustly’s strategy for the next decade and bringing new solutions to new vertical markets.
“On behalf of the Board and the team, I am proud to announce the appointments of Frederick Crosby as our new CRO and Craig McDonald as our new CBDO,” said Alexandre Gonthier, CEO of Trustly, Inc. “I am thrilled to welcome Frederick, who brings a wealth of experience building teams that drove growth in the digital payments space. He will be pivotal in leading our go-to-market team and taking Trustly to the next level. Frederick will benefit from the solid foundation laid by Craig, who will continue to steer our profitable growth strategy.”
